God often plants seeds at a very young age. Teach children to play and pray by having them offer

In the Catechism of the Catholic Church. #1656 says, “It is in the bosom of the family that parents are ‘by word and example . . . the first heralds of the faith with regard to their children. They should encourage them in the vocation which is proper to each child, fostering with special care any religious vocation'.” #2226 adds, “Parents have the mission of teaching their children to pray and to discover their vocation as children of God.”

Dear Jesus, please help me to be good today in all I do, play, pray, and say. I ask you to give your Church many good, holy priests who will shepherd us each and every day.

Workers for the Harvest
God our Father, You made each of us to use our gifts in the Body of Christ.
We ask that You inspire young people whom you call to the priesthood and consecrated life to courageously follow Your will.
Send workers into Your great harvest so that the Gospel is preached, the poor are served with love, the suffering are comforted, and Your people are strengthened by the sacraments.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
